The Numans Group was established in Western Australia in 1987. Since its inception the business has delivered projects to both regional and remote areas of WA.
Our In-house expertise and capability affords us the opportunity to offer a complete Workforce Accommodation Village solution. This extends from design and construct right through to operation and ownership of Accommodation Village assets.
We are committed to offering first class solutions tailored to meet the exacting objectives of our clients. The Numans Group is involved with development, ownership and management portfolio of accommodation villages to meet the needs for both infrastructure projects and the resource sector in Western Australia.
Numans also has an investment capability to ensure our client’s accommodation infrastructure is”off balance sheet" allowing our clients to focus their capital funding needs towards ongoing operational and project requirements.
Additionally, Numans can provide assistance with business advisory reports on appropriate site locations, preliminary village designs, development of construction and operating budgets, investment solutions, consulting and facility management.

1980’s – Our Origins – Regional Australia
The group was formed in 1987 in the town of Newman Western Australia. The group was a key provider of building services to the Pilbara region.
1990’s – Establishing Ourselves - Perth
Numans Building Services was successful in winning a number of projects including provision of services to Government in Perth. Numans successfully completed a number of commercial projects for Schools, Colleges and TAFE’s.
2000 to 2005 – Full Steam Ahead
Numans Building Services expanded their suite of services gaining recognition as a Heritage Expert and a provider of complete project management services to the Government, Industrial and Defence sector clients.
2006 to 2008 – Building In-House Capability
Over the last few years the company has focused particularly on building In-House Capability enabling us to offer the complete 360 degree solution from Concept Development through to Village Operations. Our development of robust and effective quality and safety systems has led to the award of a number of contracts with clients such as Rio Tinto and BHP.
2008 to 2010 – Focus on Workforce Accommodation Solutions
In 2008 Numans Accommodation Villages (NAV) was established. NAV will focus on working with clients and stakeholders to provide the complete workforce accommodation solution. In 2008 NAV established the Collie Hills Accommodation Village.
This is a 200 person village servicing a number of the areas industrial projects. Over the next 2 years NAV will develop a number of other Accommodation Villages in Regional WA including building on landholdings in the Pilbara, the Mid West and in the South West of the State.
